How about an avocado burger for breakfast? The bun can be replaced with avocado halves, and the inside of the burger can be lined with a soft-boiled or hard-boiled egg, sliced tomatoes and delicious caramelized bacon.
The avocado is high in healthy fats, the egg contains protein, and the tomatoes give you a well-deserved dose of vitamins and minerals. All the ingredients in this avocado burger are healthy and give you energy for the whole day.
Here’s how to make this simple breakfast recipe.
Avocado burger – a delicious and healthy dish for breakfast
- 1 avocado
- 1 or
- 1 small tomato
- 2-3 slices of bacon
- a leaf of lettuce
- half a cucumber
- 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt
- the juice of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon black/white sesame seeds
- salt, pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil (for a fried egg)
Fry the egg yolk in 2 tablespoons of oil. You can make it softer or harder, depending on your preference. Then fry the bacon slices until crispy. Take them out on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.
Peel an avocado, grate it and cut it in half. Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into thin slices.
Put the lemon juice in the Greek yogurt and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Put half a spoon of yogurt, cucumber slices, egg yolk, caramelized bacon slices, tomato slices and, finally, another tablespoon of Greek yogurt.
Put the “lid” on this burger with the other half of the avocado and sprinkle the sesame seeds on it. Enjoy your lunch!
